Seemingly floating above a garden swimming pool, this contemporary villa consists of a solid volume containing sleeping spaces sitting above the lighter ground floor living area which is partly glazed and partly clad in timber panels. The cladding on the first floor alternates between grey stone on the façade facing the road, and a white, contemporary finish facing the garden.
The first floor spaces are organized around a large central void which in turn brings light into the interior while serving as a terrace. The two large bedrooms face each other across the first floor courtyard and are designed with a sleek and contemporary interior styling.
The ground floor has been designed as a modular space, that has the potential to be reorganized in a formal manner as a series of compartmentalized room or kept as an informal, open-plan space. The guest area remains visually separated from the rest of the house.
