The form for this new health center derives from an extrapolation of the building plot, and can be described as a pair of rectangular volumes that have been folded diagonally away from the road. The recess that results from by the folding of the facade creates a threshold that serves as an area for drop-off in front of the building, which is sheltered from above by the cantilevering roof plane of the building. A large, folding roof plane creates a distinctive identity for the building, while also hiding the interior layout. The ground floor contains more public spaces, including the lobby, family clinic and lecture hall, while the first floor contains various clinics.
