Conceived as a contemporary representation of traditional architecture, this housing development boasts a facade which alludes to the historic architecture of the old Dubai wind towers. The street facade of this high yet narrow building consists of vertical structure separated by voids.
The style of window used on the facade varies according to the manner in which the interior space is used, varying from large, floor to ceiling openings in living spaces to smaller, narrow vertical openings for bedrooms and bathrooms. This play in the size and proportion of openings alters the amount of light in each space, while also creating a rhythm on the facade.
