The form of this hotel is derives from an extrapolation of its irregular plot shape, with the angular site boundary leading to the development of a building with two facades which are not parallel. The building is a large tower, glazed on 3 sides, which has stone detailing on the edges of the facades. The rear façade, a vertical feature stone wall, devoid of any openings, can be read as a sculptural element. As such, the views from the interiors of the rooms are directed towards the main facade. All of the facades have a different detailing and form, depending on the orientation. The large amount of glazing on the facades means that the building appears glows at night.
