Created for one of the major developers in the region, this project consists of a prototype villa with the intention of creating a new residential community.
The three typologies that could derive from this prototype would be based on the same concept of a long curtain wall on ground floor which opens onto the garden at the rear of the villa. The same wall folds upwards around a balcony on first floor, creating a sheltered external space connecting to the bedroom.
The structure of columns, set back from the facade, permits the ground floor to have a large glazed opening facing the garden which creates the illusion that the seemingly heavy first floor is floating above the lighter ground floor. The glazed rear facade at ground floor level creates a sense of connection between interior and exterior spaces.
